基于认知负荷理论的大学英语视听课程设计

摘    要:认知负荷理论把工作记忆容量的有限性看作是影响学习的主要障碍。该理论为教学设计,尤其是多媒体教学环境下的设计提供了有力的指导。认为在进行大学英语视听课程设计时应充分考虑视听课程的特点及学生的认知水平,在符合认知规律的基础上,要优化视听材料的呈现方式,通过降低外在认知负荷,提高教学效果。

Abstract:The theory of cognitive load views the limitations of working memory capacity as a major barrier to learning.This theory serves as a guideline for the teaching design in the context of multimedia teaching.When instructors design the English Audio-visual course,it is advisable for them to take into account the characteristics of this course and the cognitive level of the learners,optimize the presentation of learning materials in light of the regular patterns of cognition,lighten the unnecessary cognitive load and strive to achieve the best possible results.
