| Abstract: | The genus Kalimeris was analysed cladistically in this paper by means of a computerized parimony program(Hennig 86),using Erigeron annus (L.)Pers .as out group.14 representative taxa were sampled in the genus as terminal taxa;25 charactrs were chosen. The results of the analysis are presented on one cladogram. Three major monophletic sections can be recognized:the Cordifolium section (l species),the Smithiani section (2 species) and the Kalimeris section(9 species,2 varieties). The evolution of three sections and the relationships among species,varieties and form are demonstrated. Kalimeris indica var.polymorpha is elevated to the specific level. Kalimeris shimadai f. pinnatifida is considered to be as a conspecies with Kalimeris pinnatifida. And the rest is kept the same classification as those in the previous studies. |
