| Abstract: | The history of the development of modern American higher education in the past century is analyzed stage by stage,and the historical background in which American aducators took strategic measures to develop its higher education and their methods to do so are investigated.It is emphasized that when developing higher education,we must bring the roles of teaching,scientific research and service into full play.It is also emphasized that this development should be based on serving the development of social politics,the economy and cultural considerations. |
