福柯的"话语"超越了语言文字本身,被看作是一种与社会实践相结合的高层次的建构,"话语"的范畴得到了放大,并发展成为一种无所不包的文化要素。通过对比北京奥运会和伦敦奥运会的奥运话语,阐释了话语背后的深层意义,分析了二者的奥运话语建构与国家形象建构之间的密切关系,并探求如何通过奥运话语建构达到国家形象建构的目的。

Olympic Discourse and National Image Construct

The discourse proposed by Foucault goes beyond language itself, and is regarded as a construct of superstructure with respect to social practice. The scope of discourse is therefore widened and developed into an all - inclusive cultural element. The Olympic dis- courses are compared between Beijing and London Olympic Games. By interpreting the inner significance of discourses, the paper in- tends to explore the relationship between Olympic discourse and the construct of national images.
