| Abstract: | In the past two hundred years,Chinese men have made a great contribution to the development of the USA.Whereas,their contribution is seldom mentioned in American mainstream society and they are depicted as the stereotypic image which is inferior,illiterate,vicious,unassimilated and “castrated”.This thesis focuses on the deconstruction of the reasons which form this stereotypic image. |
