基于三角网格曲面的颅骨修补片重构方法

摘    要:针对传统颅骨修补术采用自由曲面设计存在造型不理想的局限性,提出了一种基于三角网格曲面的颅骨修补片重构方法。重构过程首先由CT扫描和图像处理获得缺损颅骨三维三角网格曲面模型,然后标识骨窗边界及修补片边界,并对骨窗多边形边界做合法性检查,通过每次寻找多边形边界中夹角最小的一对邻边构造新的三角面片,直至覆盖整个骨窗区域;再进行颅骨修补片与头形吻合度的调整;最后对修补片与颅骨复合的误差进行验证。实物制作的结果表明修补片与患者颅骨匹配良好。目前应用该方法已完成病例10余例,为临床缺损颅骨修复又提供了一种手段。

Abstract:Aimed at making up the inaccurate modeling deficiency in traditional cranioplasty designed by flee-form surface, a reconstruction method using triangular meshes was presented. In the reconstruction process,the 3D (three-dimensional) triangular meshes model of the skull was first obtained by CT scanning and image processing; then the boundary of the skull hole and boundary of the cranioplasty were marked, and the validity of the polygon in the hole boundary was checked. Subsequently, by iteratively searching the smallest angle of the adjacent edges on the hole polygon, a new triangular meshes were constructed,and the hole polygon were refreshed until the new generated triangles completely covered the skull hole. The adjustments of the cranioplasty model were done afterward if necessary, and finally the matching error between the cranioplasty and the skull model was verified. The physical fabrication result shows that the reconstructed cranioplasty matches well with the patient's skull shape. Presently, nearly 10 cases have been completed successfully by applying the reconstruction method, which provides a means for clinical cranioplasty.
