EXPLORATIONS ON THE COMMUNITY OF SPIDERS AND INSECTS IN THE LATE RICE FIELDS

In integrated control area,the species number and population of spider com-plex in paddy field are more than those in purely chemical control area,the latleris evidev-lly hurtful to the community of spiders and insects.There are signi-ficant distinctions on the community structure and dominant species of spidersand insects in late rice field between different regions or control treatments.Duringharvest,the change of spider community in field and on field edge are caused byfarming activity and their habitat selection.The spacial distribution patterns ofdominant spiders are consistent with those of planthoppers in peak stage,showingthat the former are main biological control agents of the latter.Further studiesare necessary to carify something account for the changes of community structurein integrated control area.
