| Abstract: | Starting from giving full play to the function of the library, this paper discusses on the necessary of establishing the subject librarian, and through explaining the concept and responsibility of the subject librarian, comparing with the traditional reference librarian, and expounding the present situation of the subject librarian of our country's university library, probes into how to be a good subject librarian and provide quality service for the readers. |
