光纤耦合模方程及其应用

摘    要:本文推导出了适于普通光纤的耦合模方程,并把它应用于光纤受到周期性微扰时的情况,得到了相应的解。因为光纤不同于平板,它们正交关系也不同,从而耦合模方程也不同。光纤除耦合系数与平板的有实质不同,它们的形式却相似。

Abstract:Coupled mode equations for optical fiber are introduced; its simple application to periodic perturbation is discussed, and their solutions are obtained. Because optical fiber is different from slab waveguide, their orthogonality relation is different, too. So their coupled mode theories should be different. We find that they are analogical except the coupling coefficient. But the coupling coefficient is the most important part for coupled mode theory, therefore, the coupling theory of optical fiber is different in essential from that of slab waveguide.$$$$
