| Abstract: | The concept of Residence Time Distribution (RTD)with a certain extent of back mixing was introduced into the research of heat transfer The dispersion model in Double Pipe Heat Exchange(DPHE)was set up A set of computer programs to calculate the temperature profile was also developed The calculated results are identical with the theoretical prediction This project will be expected to improve the rationality of the value of heat transfer area in DPHE designing |
