两大短篇小说中“死亡”的比较研究

两大著名的现代短篇小说——《乞力马扎罗山的雪》和《被遗弃的韦瑟罗尔奶奶》是“死亡文学”中的典型代表，都是通过意识流的方式，展现濒临死亡的主人公的意识流动过程。虽然描述的都只是他们濒临死亡的最后一天，但是内容各不相同。本文尝试挖掘其中的内涵，以此希望人们能够对死亡拥有正确的认识。有助于人们用一种平和的心态思考死与生的问题，实现人生的目标。

A Contrastive Study of the "Death" in the Two Modern Fictions

Two great modem fictions, The Jilting of Granny Weatherall and The representatives of death literature. They present the flowing process of dying protagonists＇ Snows of Kilimanjaro, are typical by the form of stream of consciousness. What the two fictions narrate is both the last day of the protagonists, but the content is comprehensively broad. This paper tries to explore the implied meaning based on the textual study in order to help people have a proper understanding of death and think over the life and death issues with pacific temper and fulfill their goals.
