| Abstract: | This paper discusses the macroscopic field and molecular field in a dielectric matrial, and the difference between them. We calculate the molecular palarizability of induced dipoles using some typical simple molecular models from microscopic point of view. Finally we discuss the molecular palarizability of permanent dipoles in a molecular field. |
