在NaOH溶液中铜电极钝化的机理

摘    要:本文研究了铜阳极在纯NaOH溶液中的电化学钝化行为。实验发现,在电极上生成不溶Cu_2O及CuO,使电极发生钝化。论文还详细讨论了生成Cu_2O钝化膜的机理。

Abstract:This paper discussed the electrochemical behaviours for the passivation ofa copper electrode in NaOH solution. It has been found that the formation ofinsoluble Cu_2O and CuO at electrode surface is the reason for the occurrence ofpassivation. The mechanism for forming Cu_2O at the electrode surface is consideredto be as follows. Cu OH~-[Cu(OH)]ads e~- (1) [Cu(OH)]ads OH~-Cu(OH)_2~- (2) Cu(OH)_2~- CuCu_2O H_2O c~- (3)Reaction(3) is the rate-determining step.
