| 摘 要： | 本从语言与化的关系出发，探讨了大学英语教学中语言知识的教学与化因素的教学密不可分的关系，并认为大学英语教学的实质就是交际能力的培养，从而得出结论：大学英语教学只有通过化因素的教学这一过程才能实现交际能力的培养这一目标。

| Abstract: | Through the analysis of the relationship between language and culture, this paper expounds the inseparable relationship between language and culture , then indicates that the essence of college English teaching is communicative competence. Thus the author comes to a conclusion that the objective of college English teaching, that is, fostering students' communicative competence, can be realized only through the instruction of cultural elements. |
