| Abstract: | The conception of residual periods of elements in commutative pomonoid is introduced for the first time and it is proved that in residual monoid the identity is the greatest element if and only if the residual period of every elements is 1. Some properties of residual period and the abelian-group structure of a special residual monoid have also been discussed. |
