宋本《玉篇》异体字探析

宋本《玉篇》的异体字根据形体关系可分为"改换音符、改换义符、改换音符和义符、使用不同的造字方法、增加义符、使用两种字形、简省音符、简省义符、改变构件的相对位置"9类。究其原因,第一二三四类缘于汉字构形方式的开放性,其中有些是随语音变化调整音符。第五六七八类缘于人们的文化心理。第九类主要因为书法艺术的影响。异体字不是一成不变的,比较《玉篇》和《说文》,可见5种变化形式:异体字增加(减少)、狭义异体字变成部分异体字、狭义异体字成为音义(或意义)不同的字、音义(或意义)不同的字成为异体字。
