张竞生的性学普及之旅——兼论与梁实秋的性学论争

"五四"时期,张竞生倡导节育和优生的性学思想,不仅引起了轩然大波,而且还遭致了几乎一边倒的驳斥。在这些论战中,既无过往也无交集的他与梁实秋,因缘际会,1927年同处上海,在各自主编的刊物《新文化》和《时事新报.青光》上,就"性部呼吸与道士思想"引发笔仗。由此可察性学作为科学研究的举步维艰,也折射出张竞生矢志普及性学的孤立和梁实秋思想的保守。

Zhang Jing-sheng's Popularization of Knowledge on Sexology and His Debation with Liang Shiqiu

during the May 4th Movement,Zhang Jingsheng was engaged in research in scientific sexology and advocated the thought of birth control and eugenism,which resulted in a great disturbance and suffered lopsided refutation.In the debation,He and Liang Shiqiu,who never met each other before,argued about ＂breathing by sexual organ and Taoist thought＂ against each other by publishing articles in their respectively edited New Culture and News Daily—Qingguang in 1927 in Shanghai,which shows that it is a hard task for Zhang Jingsheng to study sex as a science and to popularize sexology and that Liang Shiqiu is conservative.
