| 摘 要： | 颜色是一种客观存在的事物,它的物理属性对各民族都是一样的,但不同语言对颜色的反映,特别是赋予它的比喻和联想意义却不尽相同。以“红色”和“RED”为例,从语义基本对应、语义部分对应、语义不对应和语义空缺等四个方面探讨汉英颜色词在语义方面的异同及隐含在其中的文化观念。

| Abstract: | Color exists objectively in the world. Different languages have different images of the same color though it has the same physical property by its nature. Based on some examples of RED, the present paper attempts to show the contrast of sense between Chinese and English color terms and to reveal their cultural connotations. |
