| Abstract: | We have,in this article,presented a simple operator approach to derive the partial differential equation describing the propagation of a wave envelope under the bounds of paraxial approximation. Then,the eguation can be solved by employing Fourier transform the chnigues,and the Fresnel diffraction formula is straightforwardly obtained. |
