浅论虞姬和《虞美人》

中国古典文学作品中众多的女性形象丰富了文学的世界,但是受以男权为中心的社会格局的影响,大多数文学作品对于女性的描摹很简略,这和女性在历史发展中所起的作用是不相符的。《史记·项羽本纪》中的虞姬仅在项羽兵败时才出现,所占笔墨极少,但却给后世的文人及艺术以无限的想象空间。本文试图从虞姬短暂的形象展示和《虞美人》词所展现的艺术世界来解读虞姬们的悲剧——其实也是“人”的悲剧。

Analysis of Concubine Yu and "The Beautiful Lady Yu"

A great number of female images emerging from the ancient Chinese lite rary works have enriched Chinese literature. However, dominated by the male-cent ered social pattern, depictions of females in most works of literature are notor iously simple, which does not match the important roles played by females in the history. Concubine Yu, who does not appear until Xiang Yu's defeat in the "Hist orical Records: Biography of Xiang Yu", enjoys little depiction but leaves infin ite room for the following litterateurs and artists to imagine. This article end eavors to analyze, from the short narration of Yu's image to the arts world disp layed in the poem of "The Beautiful Lady Yu", for the purpose of reveling the tr agedy of "Yu"--functioning also as a tragedy of "humans" actually.
