| Abstract: | A framework of a point?axis system(PAS) was designed prel im inarily in order to optimize the economic geog?space of the Xinyang Prefecture of Henan.In the plan,the city of Xinyang and the town of Huangchuan were thought as two growth poles,and the Highroad 312 and the Huaihe River was set as an axis of developing the regional economy.The poles(points) and the axis as the mainbod y of the configuration was expected to promote the advance of the socio-economi c system researched. |
