International Migration in East Asia:Tendencies and Policies

This paper reviews the tendencies and causes of the international labor migration in East Asia,and notices the corresponding changes in policies in this region,such as improving the net profits of labor export,reorganizing the repatriate labor forces,reconstructing labor export system,controlling recruitment of laborers,and protecting migrant workers.Then it makes a conclusive prediction that more and more people will go to other countries to seek money-making opportunities and higher-quality life.The underlying causes include the increase in economic integration in Asia-Pacific Region,the expansion of exchanges and media systems,the internationalization of education and training,the increasingly convenient transportation,income gap,employment opportunities and the changing environment.
