| Abstract: | In this paper, a structure of CCC was introduced. It, without short-circuit of Hall field,utilizes compensation source to consolidate electrode currents with different terminal potentials to a common point. The structures and features are described in detail, and the relationships between the reactive power, harmonics of CCC and MHD channel parameters are derived when the stuctures of CCC transformer secondaries are 3-phase wye, 6-phase double-wye and 6-phase double-wye with the turn-off devices. It provides a full theoretical basis for optimizing CCC and designing reactive power compensator and harmomic absorber. |
