摘    要:中国南海珊瑚钙质砂地基在荷载作用下的压缩沉降直接决定着上部构筑物安全,通过室内侧限压缩试验对珊瑚钙质砂的压缩特性展开研究,确定了含水率、碳酸钙含量与颗粒粒径对其压缩性的影响.试验结果表明:珊瑚钙质砂中的碳酸钙含量越高,土样的压缩量越小;中粗颗粒(2~0.25 mm)越多,其压缩量越小,承载力越高;随着含水率增大,土样的...

Abstract:The safety of infrastructures on the islands in the South China Sea is determined by the compressive properties of coral calcareous sand foundation. Therefore, the compressibility of calcareous sand were investigated using unconfined compression tests in this study, and the influence of water content, calcium carbonate content and particles size on compressibility were analyzed. The results indicate that the higher the calcium carbonate content, the smaller compression. The increase of coarse particles (ranges from 0.25 to 2 mm) significantly reduced compressibility and enhanced foundation bearing capacity. With the increase of water content, the soil compression modulus decreases first and then increases, and the maximum occurs at 15% that approximates the optimal water content of 15.6%. The relationship between creep compressive settlement and elapsed time can be described by a logarithmic function, and the relative parameters are primarily determined by water content and particle size. The creep compressive rate increased with water content and then decreased. The maximum of creep rate occurred at the water content of 15%.
