Abstract:In order to explore the damage evolution law of metal materials under repeated impact load, two methods based on Lemaitre damage evolution model for establishing damage evolution equations, direct method and modified method, are proposed. The damage evolution equations of 7075 aluminum alloy are established based on these two methods, and the two damage evolution equations are compared. The results show that the damage evolution equations obtained by the direct method and the modified method are different, but their damage evolution curves are similar, and the prediction of the number of impact times before failure is approximate. Through the comparison with the experimental values, it is considered that the two damage evolution equations have high accuracy in predicting the repeated impact life in a certain range.
