Abstract:Aiming at the problem that the statistical characteristics of scatterers change with the change of radar azimuth, an extended target tracking method based on non-uniform distribution measurement is proposed. The pseudo measurements were generated by contour centroid method and acceptance-rejection sampling method. A hierarchical unscented Kalman filter (HUKF) was constructed to calculate the posterior probability of motion state and shape parameters. The proposed algorithm is compared with an unscented Kalman filter, and the simulation results show that the proposed method has better tracking performance for star-convex extended targets.
