| 摘 要： | 徐霞客是我国明代著名的地质学家、旅行家、文学家和爱国人士。《徐霞客游记》具有极高的文学价值和科学价值,它在世界范围内都是一份无比珍贵的重要地理文献!中国典籍英译在弘扬中国传统文化和促进和谐社会建设中起着重要的作用。在翻译《徐霞客游记》的过程中,作者总结出典籍英译的三个策略,希望能对从事典籍英译的人们和典籍英译爱好者有所启示。

| Abstract: | Xu Xiake is a great traveler, geologist, great patriot and writer in the Ming Dynasty of ancient China. The Travels of Xu Xiake has great literary and scientific value. The book is seen as the rarest geographical book worldwide. The English translation of Chinese classics plays a very important part in promoting the traditional Chinese culture and building a harmonious community. The three translation strategies employed in the translation of A Visit to the Baiyue Mountain in The Travels of Xu Xiake may be helpful to the English translators and lovers of Chinese classics. |
