Abstract:Based on stepped frequency high range resolution technique, in order to solve the limit of compression on ratio, a new stepped frequency waveform with intrapulse frequency modulation is presented. The system adopted analogy and digital two stage compression mode, great compression ratio is achieved. The system's frequency stability and target's Doppler effect, which mainly influence high range resolution technique, were also analyzed. The first null velocity was calculated.
