A Note on K-modes Clustering |

| Abstract: | Recently, Chaturvedi, Green and Carroll (2001) presented a nonparametric approachto deriving clusters from categorical data using a new clustering procedure calledK-modes. Huang (1998) proposed the K-modes clustering algorithm. In this note, wedemonstrate the equivalence of the two K-modes procedures. |
