| Abstract: | Through the investigation of the system development of the storytelling accompanied by sanxian in Baofeng County and the historical evolution of the accompanying instrument,octagonal drum.It is thought that the storytelling by sanxian has a history for at least 120 years before Jiaqing but after Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. |
