| Abstract: | In this paper, the optimum strueture design of rigid pavement using the method of mathematical programming is studied. The mathematical model is based on the nonlinear programming method and is in conformity with "Design Rules of Highway Cement Concrete Pavement (JTJO12-84)". According to the mathematical model and Flexiplex Tolerance method, the programs have heen developed separately for HONEYWELL DPS-8 and IBM-PC computer. The calculated results show that owing to its conditions of covergence and accuracy, the method can be applied to engineering design. |
