| 摘 要： | 体操对处于成长高峰期的中小学生来说，具有其他体育课程不能替代的锻炼价值。本文通过调查和座谈等方法了解到，由于种种原因，在四川省各中小学体操教学开展得很不理想，并且还在逐年地减少，甚至在大部分农村学校体育课已经不涉及体操教学内容，分析其原因，并就此提出如何抓住国家推行素质教育的契机，全面恢复中小学体操教学，充分发挥体操运动的锻炼价值，重树体操教学在中小学体育教育中的重要地位的建议。
