| 摘 要： | 文章阐释了Lakoff&Johnson和Searle的隐喻理论,彰显了两者之间的根本区别,同时揭示了两者之间有暗合之处。Lakoff实际上部分继承了Searle的隐喻理论并作出进一步的理论推断,同时Lakoff的隐喻的认知理论(概念隐喻理论)指出隐喻不仅是语言问题,而且是我们理解抽象概念、进行抽象推理的主要机制,是人类思维推理的基本模式。

| Abstract: | This paper explores Lakofff＆ Johnson＇s and Searle＇s Metaphor Theory respectively so as to disclose their fundamental differences as well as many associations that exist between them. Lakoff actually partly inherits Searle＇s metaphorical theory and draws an inference from the related concepts. In Lakoff＇s cognitive theory of metaphor （Conceptual Metaphor Theory）, he has claimed that metaphor is not only a matter of language, but the basic pattern of human thinking and abstract reasoning, the main mechanism for us to understand abstract concepts. |
