从最佳关联的角度看小说话语翻译中最佳译文的选择——兼评《红楼梦》中话语选段的翻译

本文试图从最佳关联的角度来探析小说话语翻译问题。作者首先简要回顾了关联理论的基本观点,并根据最佳关联的形成条件提出了选择最佳译文的两个最重要的依据。最佳译文的选择要考虑语境效果和译文读者付出的处理努力程度,当语境效果达到最大值,而处理努力程度达到最小值时,译文才是最佳的。

An Optimal Relevance Approach to the Choice of Optimal Translation of Novel Conversation A Critique of Conversation Versions of A Dream of Red Mansions

This paper is a tentative study of applying the optimal relevance to the translation of novel conversation.The paper,to start with,reviews briefly the basic viewpoints of the Relevance Theory.Then two most important qualifications of optimal transition are proposed according to the conditions of optimal relevance.Contextual effect and processing effort should be considered in a select translation.The optimal translation is produced on the basis of the greatest contextual effect and the least processing effort.
