基于SOA的全光码型变换的理论研究

摘    要:采用半导体光放大器(SOA)的分段模型,根据SOA有源区内载流子的速率方程、光功率的传输方程及半导体光放大器延迟干涉(SOA-DI)装置的传输方程,对SOA-DI装置实现全光码型变换进行了数值模拟.当输入为10Gbit/s归零(RZ)信号脉冲时,通过调整SOA-DI装置两臂的延迟和位相,在SOA-DI装置的输出端得到了10Gbit/s的非归零(NRZ)信号和NRZ信号的反码.通过数值模拟,发现必须合理选取SOA的注入电流,从而消除幅度调制效应和码型效应的影响.为了保证在转换过程中不丢失信息,在RZ信号中应当加入适当的冗余码。

Abstract:From the carrier rate equation, optical power propagating equation and propagating equation of semiconductor optical amplifier delay interference (SOA DI) configuration, a segmented model of SOA was used to simulate all optical data format conversion based on SOA DI configuration. When input is 10?Gbit/s return to zero (RZ) optical signal, by adjusting delay and phase shifter on the different arm of SOA DI configuration, 10?Gbit/s non return to zero (NRZ) optical signal and bit inverted optical signal of NRZ signal at the output ports were obtained. Through numerical simulating, it was observed that the optimum injected electric current should be chosen to minimize amplitude modulating effect and code pattern effect. To avoid losing information during conversion, appropriate redundant data codes should be added.
