| Abstract: | The article expounds the importance of introducing the cultural background information during the English teaching process in high schools. Culture affects both the information transmission and the exchange in intercultural communication,in addition to the command o the language knowledge. Therefore, the teachers should be aware of the importance of introducing relevant culture to the students while teaching English. |
