自制鑽取供给角膜片的固定器

本文介绍了一种新的钻取角膜的固定器。本器械的优点是;①可以调正眼内压。②眼球固定牢固,操作过程中眼球不会前、后、左右移动。③底座平稳,不需用手扶持。④固定器可自由折卸,消毒方便。此器械不但可供动物实验,初年眼科医生利用离体眼球作手术练习以及示教之用,在临床上也有一定的实用价值。

A METALLIC FIXATION INSTRUMENT TREPHINING CORNEAL GRAFTS FROM THE DONOR EYE

This paper introduces a metallic fixation instrument designed to facilitate trephining o:f corneal grafts from the donor eye. A comparison of three methods of immobilization of a donor eyeball when trephining is required taking into consideration the resulting changes in the corneal curvature. These three methods are: (1) the conventional method in which the donor eyeball is held by hand in a piece of gauze; (2) a plastic fixation instrument (3) a metallic fixation instrument. Our findings showed that the gauze or plastic method gave comparable results in the coreal curvature and corneal astigmatism. On the contrary, no corneal astigmatism appeared when the metallic fixation was used. It was also found that when the ocular pressure of the donor eye was controlled at 25.81 mmHg, the best results were obtained and the two cardinal meridian curvatures of the cornea were maintained almost equal. This metallic fixation instrument is easily made, sterilization is simple and provides good immobilization of the eyeball. Furthermore, the ocular tension can be readily adjusted according to needs. Since both hands of the surgeon are free an assistant may be dispensed with. Results have been satisfactory.
