摘    要:针对传统混凝土使用大量砂石,不少地区粗骨料已面临资源枯竭的问题,使用棉花秸秆制备超轻粗骨料。通过两个维度的抗压试验,得到棉花秸秆超轻粗骨料力学性能,从而确定棉花秸秆轻粗骨料理想的尺寸;通过对棉花秸秆超轻粗骨料的表面进行改性处理,从而实现棉花秸秆颗粒包覆材料的良好结合,降低超轻粗骨料的吸水率。研究结果表明,用棉花秸秆研制的短柱型轻粗骨料具有较高的强度,单个秸秆颗粒抗压强度可达18Mpa以上;经过改性处理后秸秆颗粒具有较低的吸水率,并能够与胶凝材料牢固结合。

Abstract:Coarse aggregates, largely used in traditionalSconcrete, have been exhausted over some regions. To deal with the resource depletion, this study attempts to manufacture an ultra lightweight aggregate from cotton stalks. To find an ideal size for the ultra lightweight cotton-stalk aggregate, the mechanical properties have been studied by conducting two-dimensional compression tests. In order to improve the affinity to gelled materials and lower the water absorption, surface treatment has also been applied. The results reveal that the short cylindrical product has a great compressive strength up to 18 Mpa for individual cotton-stalk pellet. Furthermore, it is found that, after applying surface modification technique, cotton-stalk pellets can possess the qualities of low water absorption and high affinity for gelled materials.
