民国时期杭州市政建设研究——以1911—1937年为时段的考察

市政建设是城市发展的重要组成部分,已日益成为城市现代化的显著标志.杭州光复和杭州建市是杭州城市发展史上的两件大事,杭州近代市政建设也随这两件大事得以真正起步并展开深入,取得了一定的成效.通过市政建设,为杭州社会经济发展创造了良好的环境条件,凸显了杭州城市发展的空间优势,使城市布局和城市功能更趋合理.但杭州的城市发展是在缺少强有力的物质支撑下展开的,再加上上海崛起的影响,遏制了杭州城市现代化的前进步伐,也制约并影响了杭州市政建设的力度.

City planning, which gradually symbolizes modernization, is the important part of a city's development. The recovery and construction of Hangzhou are the two big events of Hangzhou' progress, which really have promoted the present building of Hangzhou city. And through this endeavor, we have provided the favorable economic environment, projected the geographical adventure and made the distribution and the function more reasonable. However, the development of Hangzhou is growing on the relatively weak material basis, influenced by Shanghai's fast growth, which holds back Hangzhou's step and the extent of city construction.
