Abstract:A scheme of pole placement robust adaptive control for minimum or nonminimum phasesystems with unmodeled dynamics is presented. Robustness is implemented by using both a normalized projection algorithm with dead-zone and an appropriate nonlinear feedback. The scheme has not to precisely assign closed-loop poles. The input output data can be used to directly identify the system model parameters and the controller parameters. It avoids solving of pole placement equations on line and improves the robustness of the algorithm proposed. The resulting closed-loop system is shown to be globally stable subject to quite general assumptions.
