| Abstract: | In this paper, the period figure method checking latent period in dynamic data is used to check and separate periodic waviness of topography of rock joint surfaces. The smooth method of least squares is used to separate common waviness and irregularity of topography of rock surfaces. Based on the results above, the characteristics of periodic and common waviness of rock surfaces are discussed. The examples applied for the study of mechanical behaviors of rock joint surfaces are given at the end. |
