| Abstract: | This paper introducted the concept of river entropy. Based on the trending law of river system the self-adjusting mechanism and energy dissipating properties of alluvial river have been analyzed in the view of system. According to the variation principle, the auther inguired the energy dissipating regular pattern of river system and further studied the relation between freedom digree of riverbed adjustment and river energy dissipation to counter the river distrubance by human activities. |
