Application of FPP to decentralized supply chain distribution

This paper considers the application of fixed partition policies(FPP) to a decentralized supply chain on the assumption that each retailer faces a deterministic demand rate and no backlogging.In this supply chain,the supplier places orders with outside manufacturers at first,and then distributes the goods to retailers.After that retailers sell the products to customers.The whole supply chain profit is increased by decreasing the transportation cost.The supplier can use the pricing strategy to reallocate the saving profit in order to make the retailer accept unified arrangements of distribution periods and routes made by the supplier.An algorithm of the model and an example for demonstration is given.
