Abstract:Carbon nanotubes were produced in an electric arc discharge with an anode composed of carbon.The productions were studied in different current,voltage,helium pressure and diameter of anode and cathode sticks.Oxygen and steam in helium were discussed.The proper condition of producing carbon nanotubes is included to make purification easy.2figs.,2tabs.,6refs.
