| Abstract: | By measuring the mean and maximum wind speeds,the parameters ofweibull distribution C and K were first defined and then with them;thevarious characteristic values of theoretical wind power at 35 stations inthe Province of Gansu were caculated.The distributional regularities inthe characteristic values of wind power is dealt with in this paper.It ispointed out that the Hexi Corridor,especially the regions of Jiuquan,Wushaoling and Huajialing,are abundant in wind energy,but it is scantyin the middle and southern part of the Province.The eastern part ofGansu,and the southern area of Dingxi are the regions of seasonal util-ization. |
