| 摘 要： | 由于民族风俗、地理环境、思维方式、宗教信仰、民族心理等文化背景的差异，英、汉两个民族对各种颜色词所产生的联想也不尽相同，颜色词所具有的象征意义和蕴含的寓意也是同中有异，异中有同。本文通过分析和比较英汉颜色词语义与文化内涵的异同，以此达到更有效地促进和指导中西方文化交流和翻译实践的目的。
