殖民与被殖民的双向模拟——《北迁季节》的后殖民视角解读

霍米·巴巴的模拟既是一种统治策略,又是一种抵抗策略,它体现了一个权力运作的过程。从巴巴的模拟概念入手,通过文本细读发现《北迁季节》中殖民关系双向模拟的痕迹。最后得出,在苏丹作家塔伊卜·萨利赫的重要作品《北迁季节》里,英国殖民者激发苏丹被殖民者的认同意识去模仿殖民者,同时被殖民者也在直接或间接地模拟殖民者企图颠覆殖民话语。在此过程中,来自双边文化的人都可能被他者文化同化。由此得出一个结论：殖民关系并非是单向的权利压迫,而是两种文化的协商和交融。

Bidirectional Strategies of Mimicry of the Colonizer and the Colonized in Season of Migration to The North

Homi Bhabha＇s mimicry is not only a strategy of rule but also a strategy of resistance which embodies an operational process of power.The bidirectional mimicry phenomenon in Season of Migration to the North has been discovered through text reading and on the basis of Mimicry.In the end,this paper tries to conclude that during the process of colonialism,on one hand,the colonizers inspire the colonized to identify with them,on the other hand,the colonized try to subvert the colonial discourse through direct or indirect mimicry.In the process,people from both cultures can be internalized by the other culture.In a word,colonial relationship is a negotiation and blending of two cultures other than power oppression from a single culture.
