| Abstract: | A preliminary study is reported on the wasps reared from coccids on citrus from Yunnan Province, Southwest China. 34 parasitoid wasps are identified to belong to 24 genera of 6 families. Nine species of them are newly recorded in Yunnan Province. The host (s) of the wasps and the frequent wasps parasitic in the serious or main coccid pests are listed. Coccidoxeoides, peregrinus (Timberlakc) is rediscovered in China.Two encyrtid wasps of Coccidencyrtus sp. and Plagiomerus sp. parasitic in Unaspis yanonensis(Kuwana) or Aulacaspis citri Chen was found and described. |
