The book not only deepens the theory discussion about the view of Chinese multinational literary history, but also dwells on many forefront issues previously overlooked by academic circles. It examines the ways in which literary researches of minority na- tionalities get rid of narrow views, stereotypes, empty theories and literary studies on a single ethnic group. Meanwhile, this book offers good methods for literary researches of minority na- tionalities to integrate into national knowledge system and the tide of frontier literary criticism and to focus on the relationship between concrete texts and literature among nationalities. More importantly, it also provides valuable revelation for scholars to rewrite the history of Chinese literature.
