摘    要:需求分析对外语教学有重要的指导作用,使教学更加有的放矢。艺类生英语学习普遍低下,是一个英语学习的弱势群体。在坚持“因材施教、分类指导、听说领先”的教学指导思想下,对艺类生的英语水平、学习认识和态度、英语学习行为习惯、学习期望和要求,以及自我认知等方面进行了调研,并作了比较深入的英语学习需求分析。针对现状和问题提出了建议和措施,旨在提高学习效果。

Abstract:MFA undergraduates are disadvantaged in English learning throughout China. This paper fouses on an English learning needs analysis of MFA undergraduates in an ethnic universi- ty of Northwest China. First, their entrance examinations in English and entry tests on English proficiency were analyzed. Next, their understanding of English learning, attitudes towards Eng- lish learning, habitin English learning, and expectations for English teaching and learning were surveyed. Finally, difficulties and problems in their English learning were identified, implications drawn and suggestions provided for MFA college English teaching.
